I have a ton of new stuff planned for this year, and we're starting off strong with securing http://www.gastropoid.com.
Next, we have new products; 
Springtail Clay, Springtail Kits, Stag & Rhino Beetle Grub Kits, Bulk Leaf Boxes, Elm Leaves, Willow Leaves, Dried Hibiscus Flowers & Leaves, Algae Powders, and a Botanicals Sampler. 

I'm also adjusting the sizes and prices of some foods on my list to give y'all a better deal, and my substrates recipes will finally be shifting from using rotwood to oak flake soil. My millipede substrate will now default to being made with elm leaves, but I can still do a batch with oak on request.

Springtail Kits
This one is choose your own adventure - either one or two of my smallest vented gasket bins, and your choice of Springtail Clay, Hardwood Charcoal, or Organic Topsoil with a handful of Charcoal Chunks. 
Each kit also comes with 1oz of Farmer's Market Invertebrate Food, or 1oz Pumpkin Spice Invertebrate Food. 
Everything you need to get most of the common Springtails going. 
You'll need a different setup for slime eaters or arid globular species, among others. Please research the springtails you're keeping to make sure you pick the correct options. 
No springtails are included in this kit.

Stag & Rhino Beetle Grub Kits
This kit comes with four of my smallest vented gasket bins and two gallons of Single Fermented Oak Flake soil. 
An upgrade to Double Fermented flake soil is available on request. 
This is a good way to get started keeping solitary type beetle grubs. 
If you're looking for a kit for species like Pachnoda that can be reared communally, let me know and I'll do something custom for you.
No grubs are included in this kit.

Bulk Leaf Boxes
This is the same size as my other bulk boxes. You'll get at least 4 gallons of leaves, and maybe an extra gallon if I can make it fit, so this is a really good deal. 
This one is dealer's choice, and the best way to score limited quantity leaves that don't make it onto the permanent sales list, such as pecan, cottonwood, sycamore and red oak. 
You might also get a freebie or two, especially if I have new botanicals to try. 
Let me know if you need leaves for a specific type of enclosure or pet. It's dealers choice, but I'll tailor it to what you're keeping.

Willow Leaves
These are from my wonderful Field Collector in California. 
Unlike my previous Willow Leaves, which were only available in the little quart bags, this batch is available in both gallons and quarts.

Elm Leaves
More variable in size and color than the Field Elm I get in small batches from my Texas Field Collector. These California sourced leaves are available in both gallons and quarts, and are my top recommendation for millipede keepers.




















Dried Hibiscus Flowers & Leaves
These are both beautiful and edible for detritivore invertebrates. Great for display enclosures or a little something fun. 





















Algae Powders
I'm adding Spirulina, Red Spirulina and Chorella powders to the Foods page, in 1oz sizes. Great for a variety of different invertebrates. 

Botanicals Sampler
This is a mix of Lotus Pods, Magnolia Pods, Sweet Gum pods and if available you'll get a handful of Acorn Caps - as much as I can fit into a quart size bag.

Sizing & Pricing updates:
To make things a bit less complicated, and give y'all a better deal, I'm changing Dried Freshwater Shrimp and Dried Mixed Protein to the same 1 cup size as the Dried Freshwater Sardines. 

Terms & How to Order:

Shipping will be based on USPS or UPS cheapest shipping option for the size and weight of box required for your order.
I'm willing to ship via other options, but it will usually be more expensive unless your order is unusually heavy. 

Hold For Pickup is not default, and not recommended unless you have experience with your post office doing it well. 

All orders will have a tracking number when shipped.

Payment can be made via PayPal, Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle or postal money order. No checks accepted. 

Trades will be considered, especially partial trades for large orders. 
All partial trades will require buyer to pay shipping. 
No arachnids, centipedes, scorpions or venomous reptiles will be considered for trades.
